  Ingressive for Good (I4G), is partnering with Meta to facilitate scholarships for persons who want to learn what it takes to be a world-class social media manager. This program will train 1,500 enrollees to create engaging content, track social media performance metrics, optimize social media marketing campaigns, and manage content calendars, among other skills.

There’s a high (and growing) demand for social media managers across the world. One report by LinkedIn from 2022 suggests that demand for persons skilled in this role rose 116.4%– the third-highest increase for any role in the marketing domain. This upward trend is set to continue into the future, as more businesses seek qualified personnel to run their social media pages and scale their online presence.

Eligibility

Persons who want to apply for this scholarship should meet these criteria:
  • Must be a citizen of or resident in an African country
  • Should be willing to undergo the training for the 6 weeks in which it will be free (however, the program is self-paced and there is no set schedule)
