The scholarship is merit-based and does not charge a fee for the application. Persons who are awarded the scholarship can have it renewed throughout their time as students at their institution of study. However, they are expected to maintain high academic achievement for as long as the scholarship remains valid. Applicants who are shortlisted will be required to take a proctored test. If Julius Berger considers them to have scaled its tests, it will award them its scholarship.
