  Forward Fooding launched the FoodTech 500, inspired by the Fortune 500, aimed at raising the public profile of FoodTech companies and giving them visibility alongside showcasing their moves towards tackling the challenges faced by the global food system.

The FoodTech 500 program is the world’s “first definitive list of the global entrepreneurial talent at the intersection between food, technology, and sustainability.” FoodTech’s difference from other programs lies in its global coverage, which helps to provide a more accurate picture of the world’s level in food technology as well as the latest developments in the system, from international startups to scale-up companies in the entire food supply chain.

To be eligible for the program:

  • All startups and scaleups in the foodtech or AgriFoodTech sector, whether early-stage or already established businesses operating across the entire food supply chain, are eligible to apply.
  • The applying firm needs to be incorporated.
  • The company should have an active website.
  • The applying company should be less than 15 years old.
