The MainOne Cable Nigeria Technicians Scheme is specifically looking for OND students in their internship year, who possess strong analytical skills and are self-driven. Candidates should also be interested in pursuing a career in the telecom industry.

This program will last for one year. It will equip participants with the knowledge and technical skills they need to succeed as professionals in the telecommunications industry. While doing so, they will be able to play a part in MainOne’s vision of becoming the telecommunications solution provider of choice in the West African sub-region.

Eligibility

MainOne expects applicants to meet these conditions:

  • Should have completed their OND program in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (with a Distinction or Upper Credit)
  • Must have decent proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Should have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Live around the Ajah area of Lagos, close to the location in which they will work

How The Selection Process Will Unfold

Candidates will write an aptitude test and an essay. If they scale through this stage, MainOne will invite them for an interview. The company will subsequently offer the top five performers from the interview stage a place in the Technicians Scheme Program.
