The CIPE Youth Leadership Program aims to increase the world’s focus on issues affecting the youth (and inspire solutions to those challenges) as part of a general post-pandemic recovery process. Its theme is Youth Engagement with Private Enterprise and Democracy. Organizers of the program also want it to be a platform through which young people can make their views and ideas more audible.

The program will be non-residential (virtual) and will last for five months. It will culminate in the CIPE’s virtual Youth Leadership Conference, which will examine youth interaction with democracy and private enterprise, various challenges faced by young people, and possible solutions to those challenges. The event will give participants the opportunity to present the research and advocacy that they have been involved in throughout the duration of the program.

Benefits

Five candidates will be chosen to take part in the CIPE Youth Leadership Program. They will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Get up to $2,500, which they will receive for completing the program’s activities.
  • Interact and work with colleagues from across the world, as well as with CIPE staff.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of what is required to bring issues concerning young people to the top of society’s discussions around post-pandemic recovery.
