5th Avenue recorded impressive pre-ticket sales in 79 countries.

Nollywood film, ‘5th Avenue’, has made history as the first Nigerian production to be available in 40 languages. The action-packed film features top Nollywood actors such as the late Rachel Oniga, Kenneth Okoli, Nini Mbonu, Baaj Adebule, Obodo Emelie, Adelegan,  J’dess, and more.

5th Avenue which was made by Angel Wave Production, tells the story of Senator Daniel, a high profile politician and his quest for fairness and justice. The movie also captures the tale of Peremo’s family life, his choices and his decision to look out for the welfare of his family. It will be recalled that the exclusive screening of 5th Avenue was held on December 28, 2021, in Oregun, Lagos State. The Chairman, Angel Wave Production and Executive Producer of the film, Princess Yemisi Kudehinbu, hosted the red carpet of the event with a strong media presence alongside celebrities and associates. 5th Avenue is currently available on Qubflix, a Video on Demand service.

In her address during the exclusive screening, Princess Yemisi disclosed that Angel Wave Production is focused on making vital contributions to the fast-growing Nigerian film industry and revealed that 5th Avenue recorded impressive pre-ticket sales, selling over 200,000 copies in 79 countries. In a bid to address salient issues highlighted in the film, Angel Wave Production and Qubflix has teamed up to create a global movement tagged ‘Save the Peremos’, a collaboration that partners the Reachout Foundation, to reach children in inner cities with the help of the Innercity Missions for Children (NGO), and Angel Helpline, to offer support and counselling to families and people whose loved ones have been kidnapped.
