It is both beneficial to travellers and organizers of tour operators. If you have never been on a group tour and you are wondering “kini big deal?” Here’s why you should on a group tour at least once in your lifetime.
  1. Making Friends And Networking

Going on a group tour to an unknown destination is an excellent way to network while having an adventure. Travelling in a group allows you to share your unique experiences. You get to create great bonds with strangers who become friends at the end of the trip. That shared experience can be the birth of a lifelong friendship or a business contact that you might need when you get back to your world. Also, there will always be someone around that you can ask to help snap a photo to memorize the experience. Photos help to capture memories in tangible form and can be used to re-live the experience or jog your memory after the trip. In a group, your photo needs are met.
  1. Outsourcing The Hassle Of Planning

Planning a trip can both be exciting and stressful. You can keep the excitement and outsource the hassle of planning by signing up with a group tour. All you do is look at their itinerary and see if it lines up with the experience you are seeking. Then pay them to handle all the logistics. You don’t have to worry about missing your flight or forgetting to plan for a special experience like a bonfire night. All you need for your trip will be communicated by the tour agent and even your suggestions about things to do can be worked into their plan.

  1. Safety In Numbers

If you are a novice traveller, a group tour is a right place to start. You get company and an experienced tour guide to ensure you don’t wander off into a dangerous path. With a group, if you do go missing, at least someone will notice your absence when tourists gather at a rendezvous point. If travelling alone makes you uncomfortable, in a small or large group, you won’t feel alone or scared. Neither will you feel shy about asking questions and voicing your opinions because someone will have your back. Chances of getting scammed or ripped off are also less when you have company.
  1. Saving Money Or Getting Amazing Discounts

On your own, you might not afford a trip to Inagbe resort or Park Vega Waterpark. But with a group, the cost is subsidized. E.g. instead of an expensive sleepover at Abraka Turf and Country Club or Almat farms, you might get the option of a day trip with no sleepovers and extra expenses. Also, some group trips are discounted. So, if you have a few friends, you could collectively sign up for a trip to Obudu and end up spending less than if you went alone. Most trips abroad are easier with group tours and you get to experience 4 or 5-star hotel accommodations and more with group discounts. Being with a group affords you more value at less cost. This December, lots of awesome destinations will be full of fun-seekers. Wouldn’t it be great to go with a group and lockdown a choice location this holiday?
