The last thing you want to do is show up looking sluggish and unable to concentrate, so aim to sleep for at least 8 hours or any length that ensure you wake up feeling well-rested.
Being timely is a great sign that you’re responsible and reliable. Moreover, getting to work a few minutes early or right on time will ensure you’re relaxed and get acquainted with your new work environment.
Set an alarm and set aside plenty of time to prepare. Have an idea of the time you’ll spend commuting and add in a few minutes to account for any unexpected delays or traffic.
