The items you have to work with include:
  • Baking soda
  • Paper towel
  • Toothbrush
  • Dishwashing liquid

Steps To Removing The Oil Stain

Here are the steps to removing oil stains from clothes. Step One: Dab the liquid oil off your cloth using a piece of paper towel.

Step Two: Pour baking soda over the stained area. Leave it there for 30 minutes. Step Three: Scrub the area covered by the baking soda with the toothbrush. Step Four: Cover the spot with dishwashing liquid. Step Five: Rub the liquid into the spot. Step Six: Wash the cloth; be sure to work on the stained patch. You may do this with a laundry machine if you have one. Step Seven: Dry the cloth. The stain should have been eliminated at this stage.
