Nigerian #EndSARS protesters have refused to end the peaceful demonstrations despite the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) by the IGP on Sunday, October 11th, 2020, and the introduction of the Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) team as a replacement for SARS. Despite the government’s promises to meet the demands of the protesters, they have refused to back down, citing the need for action before they will return home.
