Today’s recipe is prepared with five ingredients but if the spirit leads you, you can experiment with more. You can add some nuts or whatever good stuff you want. Before we get into the business of making this smoothie, here’s a brief note on the ingredients. I used Cadbury’s Bournvita as my chocolate. For milk, I used evaporated Peak Milk. I had already blended oats so I added it because I wanted it to add to the thickness of the smoothie. I used the banana as a sweetener. If you want your chocolate smoothie to be extra sweet, use honey or make some syrup. My bananas were frozen and overripe. Remember this the next time you want to trash overripe bananas and make a smoothie with it instead.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons of Bournvita 1/2 cup of evaporated Peak Milk 2 frozen bananas 1 tablespoon of oats Dates

How to Prepare

If you don’t have finely blended oats, then, the first step would be to blend some. But if you have blended oats as I do, then, you will use an all in one method for making this smoothie. All in one method basically means that all your ingredients will be added at once. Thus, add the oats, the dates, the frozen bananas, the Bournvita and milk into the blender. Blend till smooth. Scrape the sides of the jug if some of the blended mixes stick to it. Serve cool and enjoy.   Featured Image Source: Cooking Light
