The Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Scandal

This week, social media was rocked by claims made by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, against the pastor of the Common Wealth of Assembly (COZA) church. In an interview with Ynaija, Busola Dakolo, claimed that the pastor allegedly raped her many years ago. This was followed by a statement from the pastor countering the claims and threatening to sue. RUGA

Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) settlements are the latest scheme by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to bring about an end to the conflict that has long existed between nomadic herders and farmers. The scheme, which entails the implementation of settlements around Nigerian to house herders, was kicked against by the Benue State government and several notable Southern and Middle Belt socio-political. Many Nigerians also slammed it as an alleged plan of President’s to Islamise Nigeria, although others welcomed it.

 

However, it was subsequently disclosed that the Federal Government had suspended the RUGA project until further notice.
