ASUU Trending Again

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), on Wednesday, threatened to go on strike again after it did so some months ago. The body accused the Federal Government of not showing commitment to its 2019 Memorandum of Action. This triggered reactions from many Nigerians who fear the impact of another strike just after the previous one:

Senators and House of Representative Members get welcome package (billions of Naira).

Then, if they lose their next election, they get a takeaway package (billions of naira).

Yet, the goverment is struggling to sort out ASUU & Nigeria remains the poverty capital of the world.
