Career Expo is an annual event powered by Ascentech services Limited, solely focused on capacity building and is designed to reduce the growing rate of unemployment, provide career guidance for youths and professionals across the country and connect employable talents to prospective opportunities.
The theme for this year’s edition is: Maximizing your Potential. and is set to serve as a platform for more than 3000 youths to network with various professionals and speakers who will be discussing strategies to diversify the nations’ options in other to ensure that employment sourcing and career development are top notch priorities in the country.
According to the Human Resource Manager, Ascentech Services Limited, Henrietta Owie, this year’s edition of the career expo is themed Maximising your Potential in order to serve as a platform for various experienced and renowned speakers to chart strategies to help our youths across diverse verticals, understand how to grow their respective careers and reduce the unemployment rate in the nation. This will amount to supporting the Nigerian government to address the huge unemployment challenge being faced and consequently improving the standard of living of the Nigerian populace.
“Our career expo is a capacity building event with a difference, designed to reduce the growing unemployment rate in Nigeria by connecting employable talents to prospective employers. The event will feature a wide range of exhibitors of any career-focused expo in Nigeria, consisting of private, International, governmental, non-governmental, and bilateral organizations,”
She added that the expo will connect thousands of candidates with various employers and participants will have the opportunity to partake in on-site job interviews set to happen throughout the event.
