It is the time of the year when going out around noon can be a struggle. Really, the heat could become quite unbearable! We can’t even bank on the coolness of evenings to put us out of this peril; it comes and goes so fast, giving way to another day of intense sunshine. This makes it a big deal to be as fashionable as you want.

So, how do we go about this? The rise in temperature need not restrict our idea of style in any sense. To avoid being soaked and feeling all irritated on a beautiful sunny day, here are the 5 best fabrics to wear in this season.

Cotton

This definitely tops the list of the best fabrics to be worn in hot weather. It is lightweight, soft and breathable making it a go-to. Cotton fabric is made from natural fibre and this allows for air to flow freely through the fabric. This makes it easy for damp areas on the material to dry quickly.  That’s not all, cotton also comes in various sizes and patterns, encouraging stylish expressions that won’t rob you of your comfort.

Linen

For a suitable garment, the linen is another choice that makes up for a long day in the sun, without getting drenched in your own sweat. It is a natural fibre created from the stalk of a flax plant and this makes it breathable and allows it to absorb excessive sweating. In addition to reducing the effect of the heat on your body, it also makes for a stylish look because it comes in several colours and beautiful designs. However, linen is prone to wrinkles, so due attention should be paid with respect to washing and ironing.

Denim

Made from tightly woven cotton, the denim fabric also has the ability to reduce the intensity of the weather on your body because it is sweat-absorbent and breathable like its parent material. Although there are heavier ones available, the lightweight denim is much more suitable for the hot season as it is comfy and classy at the same time.

Chambray

This is a plain weave fabric which is made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn.  It is similar to the denim, although the chambray offers a better option when it comes to absorbing sweat. So, go chambray!

Rayon

The rayon fabric is designed from wood pulp which comes in the form of purified cellulose fibre. It is a more durable fabric with better prospects to absorbency than the cotton fabric. Although it is made from chemical processes, the manufacturing components are natural which makes it more eco-friendly than other fabrics.
