Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, will make a set of changes to the national team before they face Uganda in Tuesday’s international friendly, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State. The Super Eagles picked their ticket to the final round of the 2019 African Cup of Nations when they played South Africa to a draw last Saturday, and will be making their first appearance at the finals in three  long years. As the three-time African champions prepare to take on Uganda in an international friendly, Rohr has announced a couple of changes he will make to the team, to provide some players with the opportunity to prove themselves. During the prematch interview on Monday, Rohr disclosed a total of six changes he will make for Tuesday’s game, which includes benching goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, for the entire duration of the friendly.

Goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, is expected to start the game, while Theophilus Afelokhai will make his debut for the Super Eagles in the second half. Rotherham United defender Semi Ajayi, and William Troost Ekong, will control the Super Eagles defense line, while Bryan Idowu, who has been out of action for the Eagles’ in their last three games, will man the right back, with Jamilu Collins, on left-back duties. Victoria Setubal midfielder, Mikel Agu, John Ogu and Oghenekaro Etebo, could command Nigeria’s midfield, while Isaac Success, will partner captain Ahmed Musa and Samuel Kalu upfront.
