Koga entertainment presents Dance 234, a dance reality TV show with a difference. Dance 234 recognises the essence of all kinds of dance, Nigerian dance inclusive as is evidenced by the name. (234 is Nigeria’s code).
Dance 234 aims not just to present the winner with a car and a cash prize of one million naira, but will also give the winner an opportunity to study in a professional dance academy abroad in a bid to further their dance career!
The audition tours visited the cities of Abuja, Enugu, Benin and Lagos in the month of June and twenty semi finalists were selected. The Abuja auditions were held on the 13th, 14th and 15th of June at Vines hotel, Garki Abuja. The Enugu auditions held on the 17th, 18th and 19th of June at the presidential hotel, Enugu. The Benin auditions held on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of June at NTA TV, Benin City and the Lagos auditions held at the Koga entertainment studios on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June.
Five semi finalists were selected from each of these regions. The turnout in each of these regions was impressive and saw dancers travelling great distances just to audition. It was an atmosphere packed full of emotion as some semi finalists rejoiced at making the cut and many dancers who didn’t make it shed tears of sadness and disappointment.
The show’s Judges are;
Brandiny, a vibrant dancer and choreographer of repute who has led various dance teams to victory in competitions both home and abroad;
Priye, a versatile dancer and choreographer and a third judge will be flown into the country prior to the commencement of the semi finals.
Dance 234 is hosted by Kiki and produced by Jemila Musa of Koga entertainment.

Dance 234 is set to be the hottest new thing to hit the airwaves and promises to be action packed, entertaining and unpredictable!
The semi finals will begin in July at the Koga entertainment studios in Oregun, Ikeja and will start airing on the 6th of August 2011 on DSTV channel 112 at 8pm.
