Jetta Amata's Movie, "Black Gold" wins One Award, after being nominated for 4 awards. "Struggle for the Niger Delta" competed for the Grand Jury Prize at the 15th Annual American Black Film Festival, July 6-9, 2011 in Miami, Florida. The Movie was also nominated for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Screen Play in the Narratives Film Competition. Director, Jeta Amata. He only won the Grand Jury award.

According to him via his Facebook wall; "Black Gold wins a Special Grand Jury Price last night at the American Black Film festival. Thought we would get more than one award, but at least dem try give us Naija people one. Dem still give me cheque of $5,000 wey we go take groove. Congratulations to all members of the cast and crew!"
