A few weeks ago we brought you a list of some of the richest Nigerian women in the entertainment industry across the world.

Below is the concluding part; ten more of Nigeria’s richest actors, musicians, media and entertainment entrepreneurs.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. The actor singer, and philanthropist is worth $ 1.7Million according to sources.

She started acting in 1995, and now has several notable films to her credit. Omotola was the first African celebrity to get one million likes on Facebook, and she still has an overwhelming following on social media. In 2013, she was honored by Time Magazine, alongside Beyoncé, Michelle Obama and Kate Middleton, as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and recently became a member of the voting academy of the Oscars.

Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele is undoubtably one of the most hardworking female actors in the industry, with her comic television series “Jenifa’s Diary” being one of the most watched TV shows in Nigeria and around the continent. Her acting debut was in the 1998 sitcom, “I Need To Know”. She has nearly twenty “best actress” awards, most of which are for her role in Jenifa’s Diary.

It is therefore not surprising that she has an estimated net worth of $ 1.6 Million

Nneka

Nneka is a Nigerian singer of international renown. She became popular after performing at the opening act for Sean Paul at Hamburg Stadtpark, Germany. She has also shared stages with a good number of international acts, touring the most of Europe, including France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Netherlands, even Japan in Asia.

She has had 5 chart topping studio albums. The 2012 album was in the top 50 in France, Switzerland and Austria, just to mention a few.

The Warri-born, Hamburg-based singer is said to be worth $1.5 million

Genevieve Nnaji

Holding an enviable reputation as one of Nigeria’s most acclaimed directors, actresses, producers, and one of the most respected African celebrity, Genevieve has an impressive net worth of $1.3 million.

In 2016, her “Road To Yesterday” movie was awarded “Best Movie West Africa” at the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards. In 2018, “Lionheart” – her debut as a director – was nominated for the very prestigious Grolsch People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. It also became the first ever Nollywood feature film to be distributed by Netflix.

Ini Edo

Ini Edo began acting in 2000 and has featured prominently in over one hundred movies. In 2011, she was appointed by the United Nations as a Youth Envoy to the UN Habitat Commission. She became one of the highest paid female actresses for some time, after her stellar acting in the 2004 movie “Worlds Apart”.

The actress is said to be worth around $1.3 million at present.

Mary Njoku

Mary Njoku is the CEO of ROK Studio. The actress and media entrepreneur has produced some of the most popular TV series including, “Husbands of Lagos”.

Njoku has two TV channels with Sky, UK and DStv in Africa, and her outfit which, she co-manages with her husband, Jason Njoku, owns the largest content library in Nigeria.

Although a very impressive actress, Mercy has made most of her money from the business side of Nollywood. She sits on this list with a comfortable $ 1.2Million net worth.

Kate Henshaw

The Actor turned politician has been a familiar face in Nollywood since the early nineties since appearing on the set of “When the Sun Sets” in 1993. She ran for a seat in the federal House of Representatives in 2015.

She has a number of mouthwatering endorsements with reputable brands including Onga seasoning, and is a Judge on the TV talent show Nigeria’s Got Talent. She was recently named as a judge on CBS’s ‘The World’s Best’

She is worth approximately $1 million.

Yvonne Orji

Yvonne Orji is a Nigerian-American actress. She was originally wanted to be a doctor, but ventured into stand-up comedy, and participated in a beauty pageant as a student before becoming an actor after graduation. She is popular for her role as Molly in the 2016 HBO hit series “Insecure”, which first aired on HBO in 2016.

Yvonne has done pretty well for herself with a total net worth of $1 million

DJ Cuppy

The famous disc jockey, who as earned a reputation as the most popular female DJ in Nigeria, is the daughter of oil magnate Femi Otedola.

She has been in the industry since 2013, and owns the Red Velvet Music Group record label. Some prominent events in which she served as DJ include the MTV Africa Music Awards and the Financial Times Summit. She is also a Nigeria tourism ambassador.

Her net worth was put at $200,000 as at 2017

Toolz

Tolu Oniru, better known as Toolz, is a radio presenter on Beat 99.9FM and talk show host.

She was born in London, into the Oniru royal family in Lagos state, and has worked in several media outfits including Walt Disney Pictures and MTV Europe.

Her net worth is estimated at $100,000.
