Birkbeck, a public research institution at the University of London, is organizing the Nigeria Creative Industries Master’s Scholarships, designed to provide financial support to graduate students from Nigeria who want to study at Birkbeck.

The scholarship will be given as a discount on the beneficiaries’ tuition fees for their first year of study at the institution. Persons who qualify for this financial aid will be chosen based on their admission applications.

Note: This scholarship can only be combined with one other financial incentive—a 10% early enrollment tuition fee reduction that’s also offered by the institution.

Benefits

Applicants who are selected to benefit from this program will receive a ₤1,000 scholarship. This will apply to students living in Nigeria who are scheduled to begin a School of Arts master’s course on a full-time basis at Birkbeck in the autumn of 2022.

Eligibility

Candidates who would like to benefit from this scholarship are expected to meet these criteria:
  • They must be domiciled in Nigeria
  • Be a full-time student
  • Must be an international student
  • Must have gotten an offer in line with Birkbeck’s entry criteria and secured a place to study a School of Arts master’s course in the autumn of 2022

Documents Required

Applicants should possess these documents:

  • University transcripts and a letter from their course advisor in which he or she predicts the student’s expected degree result
  • Their MA Dissertation or other relevant sample writing
  • Scores of their IELTS (7.0)
  • Referees
